The objective of this project was to migrate from the traditional CMS system WordPress to a new Headless CMS. This allowed the client to overcome challenges associated with outdated technologies, enhance content management and support, and significantly reduce the overall platform ownership costs.

  • The project team conducted a thorough analysis of the current system and gathered requirements for the new website and Headless CMS platform. This resulted in an Architectural Document encompassing the current system state, functional and non-functional requirements, and the target architecture.

  • A migration plan was meticulously crafted to facilitate the gradual transition of content from the traditional CMS system to the new Headless CMS platform.

  • The IT team commenced the integration of the Headless CMS platform along with the frontend application, utilizing Next.js. This step marked a pivotal milestone in the project.

  • The project team adopted a phased approach to migrate content from the traditional CMS system to the new Headless CMS platform. This methodology minimizes risks and ensures a seamless transition.
